Photopolymer printmaking class Sat and Sun Dec.10,11 from 10am to 2pm

Using your own digital images, you learn the different processes to create a printing plates . You’ll work with light sensitive Toyobo Printlight plates,which are photopolymer plates that are sensitive to photographic and photobased imagery, as well as direct drawing.

You will learn technical steps needed to create tonally rich photobased prints. Of course, your printing plate can be used for several editions of your image and altered to a certain extent in the process of printing.

The course fee for both days is $150 + $50 materials fee

This class will appeal to beginners to experienced photographers, painters and artists of all media.

Our teacher is Colleen Cox an experienced printmaker w an MFA from Sunya and a veteran of the ” green ” printmaking processes
