Ragged Edge Beads: Wire Wrapping Series Continued: Peacock Fanned Bracelet

Ragged Edge Beads @ Ragged Edge Print Studio (“Like Us on Facebook”.  Facebook will also keep you posted and reminded on up coming events).

We all loved the earrings contrived last class, and for the next four Tuesdays we will continue combining the magic of beads, natural stones, and a variety of wire techniques. Our next adventure will be creating wired bracelets using 21 square and 18 half round gauge wires. During this class we will focus on using pliers, straightening wire, becoming familiar with the strength and flexibility of wires; and twisting wire to form the proper concoction of jewelry magic.

Below is a list of supplies that you may want to have for you in class projects. We will also have the materials on hand. The items are as follows:

Linked to the wire products and choices is my favorite place to shop for wire and beads, Lotus Beads. Wire color choices (e.g. copper, antique copper, vintage bronze, rose gold, silver, black, gun metal, titanium, and more). As beginners please don’t buy any REAL gold or sterling silver wire; most wire is copper coated in the color of choice.
