Ragged Edge Beads: Wire Wrapping Series

Ragged Edge Beads @ Ragged Edge Print Studio (“Like Us on Facebook”.  Facebook will also keep you posted and reminded on up coming events).

For the next five Tuesdays we will be combining the magic of beads, natural stones, and a variety of wire techniques. We will start by learning about different wire types and gauges, while creating spiral wire earrings and nested egg wire earrings. During this class we will focus on using pliers to make proper loops, twisted wire, ear wires, and wired earrings.

If you plan on attending many, if not all, of these classes; below is a list of supplies that you may want to have for you in class projects. We will also have the materials on hand in order to create your fabulous pieces. The items are as follows:

Linked to the wire products and choices is my favorite place to shop for wire and beads, Lotus Beads. Wire color choices (e.g. copper, antique copper, vintage bronze, rose gold, silver, black, gun metal, titanium, and more). As beginners please don’t buy any REAL gold or sterling silver wire; most wire is copper coated in the color of choice.
